Ireland’s hurling hero, DJ Carey will officially launch the new Elverys Sports department at Clerys, Department Store. To mark the opening of Ireland’s leading sports retailer at Clerys, fans are invited to meet the sporting genius next Thursday 29^th April from 6.00pm – 7.30pm at Elverys Sports department, Clerys.

The new Elverys Sports outlet opened on the lower ground floor of Clerys occupies approx. 4,000 sq ft. Elverys Sports offers customers at all sporting levels, the highest quality clothing, footwear and equipment for G.A.A., Rugby, Football and Fitness.

Since Elverys sports first trading days in O’Connell Street in 1847, the sports store has become Ireland’s third largest sports retailer with 31 stores located nationwide. The decision to return Elverys to O’Connell Street reinforces the shopping district as a first choice destination for business, and customers alike as the rejuvenation of the street is near completion.

The introduction of Elverys sports to Clerys marks the development of ‘Mans World’ on the lower ground floor. This concept caters for the 30+ male and will contain an audio visual department alongside the well established menswear department culminating the refurbishment plans of the store, which will cost in excess of €20m and is due to be completed in Autumn of this year.
