World Series Driver Xavier Maassen Prepares To Race Into QPark Clerys  August 2007

Champion World Series Dutch Driver Xavier Maassen and his team will power into town this coming Tuesday, September 4th, for the official opening of Q-Park Clerys, Dublin’s most state of the art car parking facility.

In March 2007, European parking company, Q-Park, entered into a two-year sponsorship deal in which they have become head sponsor of Xavier Maassen during the World Series by Renault. Having made seven podium appearances in 2006, Xavier is now striving for top position in Castle Donington UK (or ‘Having made seven podium appearances in 2006, it won’t be long before Xavier will be a front runner in the World Series by Renault).

Following an €11m investment, Q-Park Clerys reaches new levels of quality, service, safety, style and hospitality. Located on Marlborough Street, Q-Park Clerys is now a 621-space, state-of-the-art multi story car park boasting features such as; clearly marked wide spaces, angled parking and ample parent and child spaces, 24 hour opening, the very latest in payment technology, and a defibrillator installed in case of emergencies.

Ray Peers, Chief Executive of Q-Park explained the need for such a facility, “Today people are more mobile than ever, travelling greater distances and more frequently. Whether they travel to shop, or work – they wish to reach their final destination as efficiently, comfortably and safely as possible.
