Clerys,
O’Connell Street has been busy over the past six months
stocking up on exciting new fashion brands to fit its new
look. The latest to join is a new Benetton concession
which will open on the ground floor at the start of July.
Over 40 brands are available in Clerys from classic
designs to fresh contemporary collections in the first
floor Inspire Department and the concessions.
Benetton’s
diverse looks for summer include formalwear in classic
shapes such as shirt dresses and outerwear with trench
detailing; basic men’s style with a quirky feminine
twist such as slouchy trousers mixed with raincoats and
striped shirts lifted by subtle sparkle of sequins.
Brightening the mood the colourful Everything Ethno line
has an unpredictable touch of folk mixing Peruvian
stripes,
Caribbean
flowers, Japanese sleeves and African patterns in an
explosion of summer colour.
New
collections this season in the Inspire Department include
Just a Dress, Eva Kayan, Lipsy and Fever. Just a Dress is
a French collection that utilises luxurious soft fabrics
such a silk jersey and fine knitwear while Eva Kayan
designs brightly coloured separates with a touch of the
avant garde.
Lipsy
as worn by Lily Allen, Alesha Dixon and Sarah Harding
specialise in bright and bold cocktail dresses. Dip dye,
florals and acid brights contrast with a collection of
smart and sexy little black dresses this summer. British
brand Fever design off beat but timeless clothes for work
to evening. Dresses range from fifties styles with full
shirts to empire waist maxi styles with floral hem
details.
“Over
the last six months we have been focusing on finding
fashionable collections with an extra difference that will
set us apart. The size of our redesigned fashion floors
after last year’s refurbishment has given us the
opportunity to stock an even wider range than before, all
under one roof. Benetton with its unique European style of
bold colours and sharp tailoring will bring another
dimension to Clerys and more choice for our customers,”
commented Liza Jones, Clerys’ General Manager, sales
& development.
